Variable Rate Progression (VRP) is a curriculum design and control model that isolates discrete units of study to empower you, the student, to establish a personalised pathway through the modules of a course and progress at a pace that best suits you.
moreModules are presented year-by-year in an appropriate logical sequence. Each academic year, you will have the opportunity to defer some of the available modules, for completion in the following academic year.
This empowers you to alter your pathway through the programme and control the pace at which modules are undertaken each year, until the programme of study has been completed.
moreAs Northern Ireland's civic university, Ulster delivers excellent teaching and research that positively impacts on the prosperity of our society.
